Hike n Fly Live Tracking - List of all features

Live Tracking:

• Live tracking shows the progress of the race in real time, showing the current position of each athlete (as hiker icons or paraglider icons when in the air).
• Big screen view with live tracking and live rankings displayed together. Attractive for spectators in the start/finish area to follow the race in real time.
• Low latency of only 2 minutes.
• Tracks can be viewed by clicking/tapping on the athlete's icon (also in the app).
• Each track has a different color.
• Tracks can be downloaded in the most common formats (gpx, igc, kml).
• Click on a turnpoint on the map to see who has passed it and who has not.
• Athletes with no location data within the last 15 minutes (e.g. if in a region without network coverage) are greyed out.

Live Ranking:

• Immediately after the start, a preliminary ranking will be available online and will be updated every minute. This ranking is also integrated into the Android and iPhone apps.
• At the end of the race, the ranking will automatically become final.
• If there are different categories, there is also an overall ranking.

Registration Portal incl. Online Payment / Payment Processing:

• Athletes can enjoy a comfortable registration process and checkout with convenient online payment options via PayPal or major credit cards.
• Trilingual (de, en, fr).
• Athletes' personal data is stored in a central database – no need to upload or download participant data to different systems, making tasks such as mutations, last minute registrations, and no-show handling easy.
• Athletes already in the system don't need to re-enter their details but can make any necessary changes directly.
• Registered athletes will immediately receive a confirmation email with more information as links for Android and iPhone apps and download page for task-files.
• Athletes can upload a profile photo and provide links to their sponsors/clubs and a slogan.
• This allows for an attractive start list in the form of an athlete gallery. We also provide code snippets to embed the start list gallery into your website.

Parameters module:
